Executive Chef Sumant Dadhwal, with culinary exposure of 26 years including international one,
cannot be classified into any one category of cooking expertise.
After completing his schooling from DPS Mathura Road Delhi, Chef Sumant went on to do his hotel
management from IHM Ahmedabad. From then on it has been an exciting journey covering hotels
like Delhi Hyatt Regency, Middle East hotels in Dubai (U.A.E) and Muscat (Sultanate of Oman), Le
Meridian, Metropolitan hotel, Intercontinental hotels and many more such giants.
Right from French, Italian, Mediterranean, and Arabic to European, Chef Sumant has sharpened his
culinary expertise in it all.
After joining Taj group of hotels, Chef Sumant worked in Taj residency Ahmedabad, Jai mahal
Palace Jaipur, and Taj Chandigarh and Vivanta by Taj Srinagar also has been part of preopening
team of upcoming Taj property in Shimla.
His constant endeavor is to create a culinary experience for the guests that go beyond the beaten
path. This passion play a pivotal role in his designing some of the best menus and concepts for the
hotels he has worked in, Chef Sumant’s expertise shows clearly in it all.
