His long, illustrious career spans with many Taj hotels in India and he has had the privilege to cook for celebrities and international dignitaries that include presidents, royalty and corporate leaders. Chef Vij has organized and participated in numerous food festivals both in India and abroad. He has had the opportunity to serve distinguished personalities like George Bush, Bill Clinton, Queen Elizabeth, Margret Thatcher, John Major, Prince Charles, and President KR Naraynan. APJ Abdul Kalam President Musharraf, Prime Minister Vajpayee, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Prime minister Modi and Royal family of Bhutan. Ask for his signature steaks, grills and barbecues, which he mastered during his stints in Africa. He sends his assistant chefs out of the kitchen, to neighbouring towns and villages of Faridabad and Haryana to uncover and learn the cooking secrets of the region from the locals.
