K. Satya Narayan joined the IHCL at Taj MG Road (formerly Taj Residency), Bengaluru, in the year 1986. Chef Sunny, as called with love, has built his expertise at some of the signature Taj hotels, such as Taj Connemara and Taj West End. With 7 years of service in India, Chef Sunny took over the kitchen at Taj Bentota in Sri Lanka, dedicating 3 years to setting up the kitchens, and Vivanta Colombo for 2 years. Chef Sunny has hosted some of the largest events, catering to Aero Shows, rock bands, cricket teams, and managing high-profile guests like Bryan Adams, Mark Knopfler, Richard Gere, Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, Warren Buffet, and more. He’s been a pioneer in leading the teams in Sri Lanka to Chef Guild, securing 35 medals.
